¶ Time Sync Settings
Time Sync is the process to synchronise the clock in the WatchMon supervisor to the computer time.
Administrative screen for the WatchMon supervisor hardware, and how to configure the time sync settings.
Navigate to the screen via the Hardware Menu option and choose the System tab. Editing is only available when in 'Technician' mode.
¶ 1. In your software, go to Menu > System. Go to Time Sync.
¶ 2. On the Configuration box, click Edit.

¶ 3. Click “Default”.
Before changing to the default settings, make sure the computer time is accurate based on your defined time zone.
Web Sync and the Daylight Savings options are set to automatically adjust based on your computer's time zone.

¶ Extra Help to Check if Device Time is Working Properly:
¶ 1. Press “Force Sync” to Computer Time.
¶ 2. Check to see if the device time is accurate. If not, repeat step #1.
¶ 3. Restart the device via Menu to see if the device time is okay. If not, repeat step #1.
¶ 4. Power off the device and then resume to see that the device time and startup are accurate.
¶ 5. If device time is still inaccurate, please repeat the steps outlined above.
¶ Important Reminder on Time Sync:
For WatchMon devices 4.5 batch 'E' and 'F', the onboard RTC is not working properly as designed. Please ensure that the coin battery is removed. For devices that continue to have issues, please change the setting to "Ignore OnBoard RTC Sync".
