Battery model: CR 1220
The coin battery is responsible to keep the correct, real-time clock which we use for logging timestamps and other events into the WatchMon's onboard storage.
The coin battery is only used when disconnected from any power source (USB or 8-65v DC). The real-time clock consumption will last 13 years.
However, consider replacing the coin battery every few years to match its shelf life. There are some long-life batteries available that will last over 10 years.
