The PIN Code is a unique 6-digit number you will find on the back side of your WatchMon hardware.
The PIN Code number will be requested to give you permission to make modifications to the hardware settings and also to connect your WatchMon hardware via WiFi for the first time.
¶ Locating Pin Code
The PIN Code can be found on the back of WatchMon.
In this example, the PIN Code is 987654.
¶ WatchMon
You can double-check the pin code by taking the back cover off and checking whether the pincode is matching the back of the PCB.
¶ WatchMon + Expansion Board
The PIN Code is on both the back of the din rail mount and inside on the back of the PCB.
¶ Modify Technician PIN Code
¶ 1. Access the System Tab.
This screen is accessed via the Menu on the Hardware option, then choose the System tab.
¶ 2. Modify AuthKey
Clicking the Modify AuthKey link will open up the Change Authorisation Key screen.
¶ Input your desired 6-digit PIN Code.
If you change it make sure you make a record of it somewhere safe. DO NOT LOSE THIS PIN CODE.
By default, security feature is enabled. This can be disabled if you wish via the system hardware setup screen. However, we don't recommend disabling this unless you are okay with others making changes without authorisation.
